Using RoundUp in a web browser

Paying tuition, receipts, saved payment methods, autopay and events, from any browser.

For parents and guardians

What the web portal is for

The family portal is RoundUp on the web, at my.roundupece.com unless your center gave you another address. It's for billing and events: your balance and invoices, paying, receipts and statements, saved cards and bank accounts, autopay, and your center's calendar.

Your child's day, photos, messages and check-in are in the app. If your center doesn't bill through RoundUp, the portal says so after you sign in.

Signing in

Use the same email and password as the app. If you haven't set up an account yet, use your invitation: Set up on the web creates it in the browser (see I got an invite — what now?).

Forgot your password? sends a reset link. That link opens in the RoundUp app, so if you don't use the app, ask your center for a temporary password instead; the portal asks you to choose your own the first time you sign in with it. See I forgot my password.

The portal is for family accounts. A staff account can't sign in here.

The first time you sign in, four short cards point out the sections, your balance, how to pay and where the settings are. Take the tour, at the bottom of every page, shows them again.

Seeing and paying invoices

The first page, Your account, shows your Balance due and anything past its due date, then your invoices under To pay and Past invoices.

  1. Open the invoice Click it to see What this is for, what's been paid so far and what's Still owed.
  2. Click Pay The button shows the amount. Stripe's secure payment page opens; your card or bank details are entered there, never on the portal.
  3. Come back When you've paid, Stripe sends you back and the portal says Thank you — payment received.

If it says Your payment is processing, don't pay again. Card payments usually show within a few minutes, and bank payments take a few business days. If you left Stripe's page before finishing, it says No payment was made, and nothing was charged.

Payments and receipts

Payments & receipts has three parts:

  • Payment history — every payment, with Download as CSV for a spreadsheet.
  • Monthly statement — choose a Month to see what was billed, paid and refunded.
  • Tax receipts — year-end statements your center prepares, each with Download PDF. Centers usually prepare them in January. At a centre in Canada, these are the CRA child care receipts; see Your child care receipt for your tax return.

Payment methods and autopay

Payment methods lists your saved cards and bank accounts, and your autopay setting.

  • Add a card opens Stripe's page to save a card. It becomes your default.
  • Link a bank account (US): sign in to your bank on Stripe's page to verify it instantly, or, if your bank isn't listed, enter its routing and account numbers and confirm the small deposit Stripe sends.
  • Add a Canadian bank account appears instead at centres in Canada. See Paying tuition by pre-authorized debit.
  • Make default chooses which method autopay uses. Remove, then Yes, remove it, deletes one; removing your default switches autopay off.

Under Autopay, Turn autopay on pays each new invoice with your default payment method, and Turn autopay off stops it. It's the same setting as in the app; see Autopay and saved cards.

Center events

Center events shows Your meetings, the parent-teacher conferences booked for your family, and Coming up at your center: closures, celebrations and events on your center's calendar. To RSVP or book a conference, use the app. See Events, RSVPs and conferences.

Language, dark mode and your home screen

At the bottom of every page (and under the sign-in card) you can switch the language between English and Español, and the appearance between System, Light and Dark. Both are remembered on that browser.

On a phone, you can add the portal to your home screen from your browser's share or menu button. It then opens full-screen like an app. Invoices and payments are never saved on the device; they load only when you're online, and without a connection the portal says You're offline.

Signing out

Sign out is at the top of every page. It signs out that browser only; the app on your phone stays signed in. On a shared or borrowed computer, always sign out when you're done.

Still stuck?

Your center's director can see your family's account and can fix most things fastest. If the app itself is misbehaving, that one's ours.
