Adding another parent or guardian
Giving a second parent their own account rather than sharing yours.
How to add someone
Ask your center to add them as a guardian with their own email address. They'll get their own invitation and set their own password.
Their own account, not yours
Give each guardian a separate account rather than sharing one login. It costs nothing and it means access can be changed for one person without disrupting the other — which matters more than it seems until the day it matters a lot.
Both accounts see the same child, the same daily reports and the same photos.
Separated parents
Separate accounts are exactly right here. Each parent sees their child's day without going through the other, and neither depends on the other for access.
If only one of you handles tuition, tell your center — billing sits with the family, and they can direct statements appropriately.
If a court order affects who may access information about your child or collect them, give your center the paperwork. They need the document on file — it isn't something to set through an app request, and staff can't act on one parent's account of it.
What guardians can see
A guardian account sees that child's attendance, daily reports, photos, messages and the family's billing. It doesn't show other families, and it doesn't show anything about the wider center beyond announcements.
Removing access
Ask your center. Removing a guardian ends their access to your child's records.
If a removal is urgent for a safety reason, phone rather than message, and say so plainly. Messages wait for a free hand; phone calls don't.
