I got an invite — what now?
Your child's center uses RoundUp. Here's how to get in, in about five minutes.
1. Accept your invitation
Your center sent an email from RoundUp with a button that says Accept invitation. Open it on your phone if you can — that way the app can pick up where the email leaves off.
- Find the email Look for a message from your center's name via RoundUp. If it isn't in your inbox, check spam and promotions — it's the most common reason people think they never got one.
- Tap "Accept invitation" This confirms you're the right person and opens the page where you choose a password.
- Choose a password Pick something you'll remember. You'll use this with your email address every time you sign in.
If your link says it's expired, ask your center's director to send a new one — it takes them a few seconds and they can do it from their phone.
2. Get the app
RoundUp is free for families. Download it on the App Store or Google Play, open it, and sign in with the email address your invitation was sent to and the password you just chose.
If your center invited both parents separately, each of you signs in with your own email and password. You'll both see the same child.
3. What you'll see
Once you're in, the app opens on your child's day:
- Today — when your child was signed in and out, and who by.
- Daily report — meals, naps, and the notes teachers add through the day. What appears depends on your child's age group and what your center chooses to share.
- Photos — pictures teachers share with your family.
- Messages — a direct line to your child's classroom, and announcements from the center.
- Billing — tuition, any fees, and payment if your center uses RoundUp for payments.
Check-in and check-out times are recorded by staff and are read-only for families. If a time looks wrong, tell your center — they can correct it, and the correction is recorded.
If it isn't working
I never got the invitation
Check spam first. If it's genuinely not there, the address on file may be wrong or have a typo — ask your center which email they sent it to.
It says my email isn't recognized
Sign in with exactly the address the invitation was sent to. If you have two addresses, it's often the other one.
I can't see my other child
Siblings appear together when they're linked to the same family record at the center. If one is missing, your center's director can link them.
I forgot my password
Choose Forgot password on the sign-in screen and follow the email.
Directors can see your family's account — the email on file, which children are linked, who's authorized for pickup. We can't change any of that for you, so for account questions, start with them.
