Telling your center about next school year

Whether your child is coming back next year, and checking the details your center has on file.

For parents and guardians

When it opens

Once a year your center asks each family about the next school year. When it opens, you get a notification headed Re-enrollment for and the school year (as long as Announcements is switched on in Settings).

Go to More and tap Next school year, under Your children. The top card says Re-enrollment for the year, Please answer by a date, and any note from your center.

If it says No re-enrollment open, your center isn't asking right now.

Answering for each child

There's a card for each of your enrolled children.

  1. Coming back? Under the question Will … be back for …?, choose Yes, returning, No or Not sure yet.
  2. Check the details Look over the contacts and allergies (below).
  3. Add a note Anything we should know? is for schedule changes or questions. It's optional.
  4. Send it Tap Send answer. You'll see Thanks — your answer is saved, and the card shows your answer and the date.

Your answer tells your center your plans. It doesn't change your child's enrollment by itself; ask your center about anything else it needs from you for next year.

Contacts and allergies

Each card lists the Emergency contacts on file and Allergies on file for that child. If they're right, tap Contacts are correct and Allergies are correct before you send.

If something's wrong, tap Something's wrong? Update the profile. It opens your child's profile, where you can fix it (see Updating your phone number or address). Then come back and send your answer.

Changing your answer

Until your center closes re-enrollment, open the screen again, change what you need and tap Update answer. Either parent or guardian can answer; your center sees the latest answer for each child. After your center closes it, answers can't be changed in the app; contact your center instead.

If you got an email instead

Your center can also email you that re-enrollment is open. If the email arrives but Next school year says No re-enrollment open, reply to your center directly with your plans.

Who sees your answers

Your center's director and staff see each family's answers, including whether contacts and allergies were confirmed. Other families don't.

Still stuck?

Your center's director can see your family's account and can fix most things fastest. If the app itself is misbehaving, that one's ours.
