Booking a tour and checking on your inquiry

For families who haven't enrolled yet: booking a visit, seeing where your inquiry stands, and sending what the center asks for.

For families thinking about a center

No account needed

Everything on this page works in a web browser, with no app and no RoundUp account. It's for families who are still deciding: booking a visit, or following up on an inquiry you sent from a center's website.

Once your child has a place, your center sends you an invitation to the app instead. See I got an invite — what now?

Booking a tour

Centers that book tours online share a link to their booking page: on their website, in a text, or as a QR code on a flyer. It opens Book a tour at and the center's name, with the center's address and how long the tour lasts at the top of every step.

  1. Pick a time Choose a Day, then a Time, and tap Continue.
  2. About you Your first and last name, your email and, if you like, a phone number.
  3. Your children For each child, a first name and a Birth or due date (expecting? a nickname is fine). Add a child adds another. You can also say When would you like to start? and add anything the center should know.
  4. Check and book Look over your details, then tap Book this tour.

You'll see You're booked with the time, and a confirmation email follows. If someone else books that time while you're filling in the form, the page says That time was just booked. Please pick another. and takes you back to fresh times. Nothing you typed is lost.

If the page says online tour booking isn't available, or there are no open times, phone the center to arrange a visit. If the link opens the RoundUp app on your phone, the same four steps happen there.

Checking on your inquiry

If you sent an inquiry through the form on a center's website, you can see where it stands at any time:

  1. Go back to the form On the center's website, tap Already sent one? Check on your inquiry.
  2. Enter your email Use the address you put on the form, and tap Send me the link.
  3. Open the email If the center has an inquiry from that address, an email headed Your inquiry with and the center's name arrives. Tap See my inquiry.

The form gives the same answer whether or not it knows your address, so nobody can use it to find out who has asked a center about a place. If no email arrives, check spam, then check the address with the center.

The same link also comes in other emails from the center, such as a request for documents or a tour reminder. It works for 14 days; after that, ask for a new one the same way.

What the inquiry page shows

The page opens with here's where your inquiry stands and the date the center received it, then the steps: Inquiry received, Tour, Application, Offer and Enrolled, with the current one marked. Your hoped-for start date is shown if you gave one.

It shows your children's first names and the step you're at, and nothing staff have written about your family. If the inquiry has been closed, the page says so; contact the center if you're still interested and they can open it again.

The page is in English or Spanish; the switch is at the bottom.

Moving or cancelling your tour

Under Your tour:

  • Book a tour, or Pick another time if you already have one, lists the center's open tour times. Tap one and you're booked; a confirmation email follows.
  • Add to calendar saves the tour to your phone's or computer's calendar.
  • Cancel the tour cancels it, and the page says Your tour is cancelled.
  • For an online tour, Join online opens the meeting link.

If you booked from the booking page and don't have an inquiry link, contact the center to change the time.

Sending documents

Before enrollment, a center may ask you for paperwork such as an immunization record or a birth certificate. You'll get an email from the center saying it needs a few documents, with a Send my documents button that opens your inquiry page.

The documents section lists each one with a Send button. Choose a photo or a PDF, up to 25 MB. When it's in, the page says thanks, and the document shows ✓ Received. A scan that's too big usually goes through as a photo of the page instead.

When your child is enrolled, the center can carry those files over to your child's record, so you shouldn't need to send them again. After that, use the app — see Sending your center a document.

Your inquiry link is personal. Anyone who has it can see your inquiry's step and your tour, change the tour, and send documents for you, so don't forward it. The page moves the link out of your browser's address bar as soon as it opens, so it doesn't end up in a screenshot or a shared tab.

If the page says This link has expired or isn't valid, ask for a new one from the form on the center's website.

Still stuck?

Your center's director can see your family's account and can fix most things fastest. If the app itself is misbehaving, that one's ours.
