Photos and daily reports

Meals, naps, nappies and activities, the photos teachers share, and who else can see them.

For parents and guardians

The daily report

Through the day teachers log what happened — meals and how much was eaten, naps and how long, nappy changes or bathroom trips for younger children, activities, and notes worth passing on.

What appears depends on your child's age group and what your center chooses to record. An infant room usually logs a great deal; a pre-K room may log activities and little else, because there's less to track and more to describe.

Some centers ask you to acknowledge the report. That's just confirming you've read it.

Photos

Teachers share photos of your child through the app. They arrive attached to the day, so they sit alongside the report rather than in a separate feed to hunt through.

Who can see them

Photos and reports for your child go to your family — the guardians linked to that child at the center. They aren't public, they aren't posted anywhere, and other families don't see them.

Where a photo includes more than one child, your center decides how it's shared, following its own photo policy and whatever you agreed at enrollment.

If you'd rather your child wasn't photographed

Tell your center. It's a normal request and they can set it on your child's record — you don't have to justify it.

Saving a photo

You can save photos of your child to your phone. Please think about the other families before sharing a photo that has other people's children in it — a nursery photo on a public account is the kind of thing centers get complaints about, and it's usually nobody's intention.

If a day looks empty

Reports are written by teachers between everything else, so a quiet day is more often a busy classroom than a missing record. If a whole week looks empty and it usually doesn't, message your child's room — something may have changed about how that room records the day.

Still stuck?

Your center's director can see your family's account and can fix most things fastest. If the app itself is misbehaving, that one's ours.
