Enrollment
Website inquiry form and email inquiries
Two ways families reach ChildForce without you typing anything: a form on your website, and an email address you forward inquiries to.
The website form
Put your inquiry form on your own website with a short snippet. Families who send it land in ChildForce as a new lead and get the usual confirmation email, with a link to check on their inquiry, book or move a tour, and send any documents you ask for. No account is needed. Only directors can change the form's settings.
Setting it up
In the director portal, open Enrollment → Settings → Website form.
- The form is on: the switch.
- Websites that may show it: one per line. With none listed, any site can show your form.
- Also ask for: optional fields, such as the child's date of birth, desired start date, phone, program and a message.
- Program choices, separated by commas. Leave it empty to let families type their own.
- Accent colour, a Thank-you message, and the Language when the page doesn't say.
A live sample of the form sits beside the settings and redraws as you change them; The form / After sending switches to the thank-you screen. Nothing typed in the sample is sent. Save, then Try the form opens your saved form on a test page. Anything sent from that page is a real inquiry.
Putting it on your site
Under Paste this into your website, Copy snippet and paste it into your site where the form should appear, or send it to whoever looks after your website. Website builders usually call this an embed or HTML block. Add your site's address to Websites that may show it so the form can't be shown anywhere else.
What happens when a family sends it
- A lead appears on the Pipeline board at New inquiry, with the source Website, and goes to an owner if lead routing is on.
- The family gets a confirmation email with their inquiry link. From it they can see where things stand, book, move or cancel a tour, and send documents.
- The form has Already sent one? Check on your inquiry, so a family who lost the email can get their link again.
Email inquiries
Enrollment → Settings → Email inquiries turns on your center's own ChildForce address. Forward family emails to it, or give it to listing sites. Each email becomes a lead with the family's name, email and any phone number in the message, or a note on their lead if ChildForce already has their email. A forwarded message is filed under the family, not under you. The lead's source is Email.
While intake is off, email sent to the address is ignored.
If the address gets spam
Getting spam? Get a new address replaces it. The old address stops working at once, so update anywhere you've given it out.
