The integration marketplace
Where RoundUp's integrations live, what each tile's buttons do, and the two one-at-a-time rules.
Finding it
Open More → Center management → Marketplace. Directors, assistant directors and admins can open it. It shows every integration your center can use, connected or not, with a short description under each tile.
Searching and categories
Type in Find an integration… to search names, descriptions and the common names people use for things — procare, ics and azure ad all find the right tile. While you're searching, results show as one list without category headings.
The chips below narrow the list to one category; tap the same chip again, or All, to go back. A category with nothing in it for your center doesn't get a chip.
What's there
| Category | Tiles |
|---|---|
| Communication & Families | Slack & Teams alerts, Calendar subscription |
| Switching Systems | Move your roster over |
| Payments & Tuition | Card & bank payments |
| Payroll & HR | Background checks; ADP, Paychex, BambooHR, Rippling, Paylocity, TriNet, TriNet HR (Zenefits), Justworks, Workday; and Payroll & HR for anything else |
| Compliance & Programs | Subsidy attendance reporting, Food program (CACFP) |
| Identity & SSO | Okta, Auth0, Single sign-on (SSO), Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, ClassLink, JumpCloud |
Accounting, e-signature, design tools, text messaging and newsletters aren't offered to RoundUp centers yet, which is why those categories don't appear. Nothing is broken; they aren't there.
Connect, Open and Manage
- Connect — on tiles that link an outside account. Most open a setup screen in the app. Background checks opens in your browser; when you've finished there, come back and tap Refresh.
- Open — on tiles that are part of RoundUp already, with nothing to connect. Their status reads Included. Move your roster over opens Import roster, Calendar subscription opens your subscription links, Subsidy attendance reporting opens Reports, and Food program (CACFP) opens Reports with the food program report already open.
- Manage — appears once a tile is connected. Card & bank payments goes to Payment Operations, Slack & Teams alerts to Chat alerts, the payroll cards to Payroll & HR, and the sign-in tiles to their own setup screens. Background checks has no screen of its own: Manage just reminds you to order a check from a staff member's record on the Staff tab.
The articles for each: Slack and Teams alerts, Calendar subscription links, Import your roster, Set up payments and Payment operations, Subsidy and ERDC, and for sign-in Okta, Auth0, JumpCloud and Microsoft Entra ID or OpenID Connect.
Statuses and Refresh
Each tile's status is checked when the screen opens (Checking…) and then reads Not connected, Connected, Syncing… or Reconnect needed, which comes with a Reconnect button. Unavailable means the integration isn't switched on for your center yet; the tile says to contact support. Refresh on any tile checks all of them again.
Card & bank payments reads Connected only once your payments account can take payments. One whose details have been submitted but that can't take payments yet reads Reconnect needed.
One sign-in provider, one payroll link
Sign-in. A center signs its staff in through one identity provider. Okta, Auth0, JumpCloud, ClassLink and the OpenID Connect connector share that one slot. While one is connected, the others lose their Connect button and say, for example, Your center already signs staff in with Okta. Disconnect it first to switch to Auth0.
Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID are shortcuts to the same OpenID Connect setup as Single sign-on (SSO) — one connection behind three tiles, so they describe each other rather than blocking each other. Connect through Google Workspace and its card reads Connected, while Microsoft Entra ID reads Not connected and says Your staff currently sign in through a different provider. Connecting Microsoft Entra ID will replace it. Single sign-on (SSO) is the generic door and reads Connected whichever of the three you used — including a provider with no card of its own, such as OneLogin.
ClassLink is listed but isn't ready for districts to connect yet, and its tile doesn't show its connection state. Email support before you try it.
Payroll. A center has one payroll link. Once one provider is connected, the other payroll cards say Your payroll is currently linked through a different system. Connecting ADP will replace that link.
Once one is connected, Manage on its card opens Payroll & HR, where you can read the roster, time off and pay runs your payroll system holds and match those employees to your staff records. See Connect payroll and HR.
Disconnecting
Connected tiles have Disconnect. It asks first — This revokes stored credentials and stops future syncs. You can reconnect anytime. — and you confirm with Disconnect. Disconnecting a sign-in provider changes how every staff member signs in, so read that provider's article before you do it.
For sign-in, Disconnect is on the Single sign-on (SSO) tile and on the card for the provider you actually connected — the other identity cards read Not connected, so they can't revoke a connection that isn't theirs. Either of the two ends staff sign-in through your provider, as does Disconnect single sign-on on the setup screen (Manage); use whichever you're nearer to.
Card & bank payments is the one connected tile with no Disconnect button. Closing a payments account is done by hand, because money in transit and open disputes are attached to it, so the tile says so instead: Payments stay connected until support closes the account. Email support to stop taking card and bank payments.
The Integrations card
At the bottom of Logins & configuration is a card called Integrations. It lists only what your center has connected, with Add Integration to show the rest under Available to connect, and Browse Marketplace. Use the card to look after what you have and the Marketplace to find something new. The payroll provider cards, Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID appear only in the Marketplace.
