RoundUp pays for itself 7× over.
A typical 60-child Oregon center saves $13,000+ a year on violation prevention, hardware fees, admin time, and revenue recovery — against a $1,824/yr annual subscription. Here's the math, transparently:
How we got these numbers: Violation costs sourced from Oregon OCC public enforcement records and ERDC reimbursement schedules. Card reader rental from Square/Clover published merchant pricing. Admin labor at $30/hr (Oregon ECE director median). Revenue recovery from RoundUp customer data — 30% aging reduction is conservative (typical range: 25–40%). Numbers scale linearly with center size from a fixed baseline ($2,280) plus $180/child/yr; multi-site chains add their Multi-Site addon cost. Bring your own numbers to a demo and we'll model your specific center on a shared screen.

Pricing, plainly.
What does mixed-age ratio support actually mean?
In Oregon, when a single room has children of different age groups (e.g., toddlers and preschoolers), the OCC ratio is set by the youngest child plus the mix — not the highest age group. RoundUp computes this live as kids check in and warn you the moment you'd cross the cap. Brightwheel, Procare, and Lillio all assume one age group per room — they can't enforce mixed-age math, which is how most Oregon centers actually run.
How much does RoundUp actually save us per year?
For a typical 60-child center, ~$13,000/year — driven by avoided OCC/ERDC violations, no card-reader rental, ~12 hrs/week of director time saved, better tuition collection, and paper/supplies. Against a $1,824/yr annual subscription, that's ~$11,256 net savings or ~7× ROI. Run the math for your center →
Are the savings numbers realistic?
Yes — they're conservative. Violation costs come from Oregon OCC enforcement records and ERDC reimbursement schedules. Card-reader rental is from Square/Clover published merchant pricing. Admin labor is calculated at $30/hr (Oregon ECE director median) on time studies from real Swift Start centers. Revenue recovery is from RoundUp customer data with a 30% aging reduction (the typical range is 25–40%). Bring your own numbers to a demo — we'll model your specific center on a shared screen.
Why addons instead of tiers?
Most centers don't need every feature on day one. A small home-based provider may only need check-in and family messaging ($99). A growing center adds tuition processing ($148). A licensed center adds subsidy reporting ($187). You only pay for what you turn on — and you can flip addons off at any renewal.
Does RoundUp work for any size center?
Yes. Three reference tiers: Small (home-based, ~$99/mo), Medium (centers + chains under 50 locations, $179 bundle + Multi-Site), Enterprise (50+ locations, custom pricing with volume discounts and multi-year terms). Every plan is custom-built for your roster, locations, and addons — the prices on this page are starting points, not ceilings. Get a custom quote →
What about uptime and reliability?
RoundUp runs on AWS across multiple regions with automated failover — primary in us-west-2 (Oregon), failover in us-east-1 (Virginia). DNS failover via Route 53 typically cuts over in under a minute if a primary endpoint goes down. Multi-AZ RDS for the database, S3 cross-region replication for files, CloudWatch + PagerDuty for monitoring. Uptime targets: 99.9% on Multi-Site (best-effort), 99.95% SLA on Enterprise (with credit terms). SOC 2 Type II review available on Enterprise plans.
Can parents really pay with Tap-to-Pay on the spot?
Yes — and we're one of the only ECE apps that supports it. When a parent shows up at pickup without a checkbook, the director can tap the parent's card or phone on the back of the staff iPhone. Payment confirmed in 8 seconds. No Square reader, no Clover terminal, no third-party processor. Brightwheel, Procare, and Lillio all require separate hardware for in-person fees. This runs on our custom Stripe integration built specifically for RoundUp — Lillio runs on Worldline (Bambora) which doesn't support Tap-to-Pay or Apple Pay at all.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — every plan starts with a 10-day free trial. No card required. We import your roster and ratios so you're up Monday morning. The trial includes the Base plan and any two addons of your choice.
How does payment processing work?
The Tuition & Payments addon runs through Stripe (ACH and card, Apple Pay supported). Tap to Pay on iPhone is built in for in-person fees — no card reader to rent or buy, saving most centers $35–50/month versus competitors that require Square or Clover hardware. Standard Stripe processing fees apply on top of the addon fee.
Can I add or remove addons mid-year?
Yes. Add an addon anytime — we'll prorate. Remove an addon at your renewal. No long-term contracts. The Everything bundle ($179) locks in a $56/mo discount for centers that want every single-site addon.
Do you support ERDC subsidies?
Yes — the Subsidies & QRIS addon ($39) generates ERDC reports in the exact format the Oregon Employment Department expects. It also produces Spark QRIS exports for your annual review and a full audit log for licensing visits.
Is data import included?
Yes — full data migration is included with the Standard Setup ($499 one-time) for single-site centers. Home-based providers can self-import via CSV at no cost. See implementation pricing →
What integrations do you support?
Live today: Stripe (custom build), Apple Pay, Tap-to-Pay, Plaid, Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks Payroll, Twilio SMS, SendGrid, Brightwheel/Procare/Lillio migration, Google/Apple/Outlook calendars, and Oregon OCC/Spark/ERDC compliance. Identity & SSO (SAML 2.0, Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra) is sold on Enterprise plans only. Beta or roadmap: BambooHR, Rippling, Sterling, Checkr, QuickBooks Online, Xero. Full list →
What if I need an integration you don't have?
Some integrations are custom-built per tenant — billed as a one-time fee scoped per project:
- Tier 1 Light ($500–$1,500): Custom field mappings, specific HRIS variant, single-export reformat. 3–7 business days.
- Tier 2 Medium ($2,000–$5,000): Two-way custom HRIS sync, custom banking handoff, state-specific subsidy variant. 2–4 weeks.
- Enterprise ($4,999+ setup): Custom integrations are included — no per-integration fee.
Center-specific configuration of standard integrations (your Stripe account, your Gusto org, your OCC licensing details) is wired during Standard ($499) or Multi-Site ($1,499) setup at no extra cost. See the full integrations catalog →
Is there a setup fee waiver?
Yes — setup fees are waived if you sign an annual contract during the 10-day trial. So Standard Setup goes from $499 to $0 if you commit annually. Self-Serve is always free.
What does Multi-Site actually do?
For owner-operators with 2–49 locations. It adds cross-location reporting, centralized billing across sites, and a dedicated success contact. The $99 base is per organization (not per location), then $59 for each location beyond the first. So a 3-location chain pays $99 base + $59 + $59 = $217 for the Multi-Site addon, on top of one Base plan and whichever addons each location needs. Once you cross 50 locations, you graduate to Enterprise plans — custom pricing with volume discounts, SSO (SAML/Okta/Google Workspace/Microsoft Entra), SOC 2 review, custom MSAs, and BAA. SSO is Enterprise-only.
