RoundUp is coming to Canada.
Ontario first.
RoundUp runs a child care centre’s day: check-in and ratios, tuition, family updates, incidents and medication, and staff records. We’re bringing it to licensed centres in Ontario first, then Alberta and British Columbia, and we’re starting with a small group of centres. Tell us about yours.
Made for how Canadian centres work.
These are in RoundUp today. A Canadian centre turns them on when it joins.
Provincial ratio rules
Ratio rules for every province and territory, taken from each one’s child care regulations. Before your centre goes live, we go through your province’s rules with you.
Canadian dollars
A Canadian centre’s RoundUp subscription is billed in Canadian dollars. RoundUp never quietly switches it to US dollars.
Tuition by card or PAD
Families pay tuition in Canadian dollars by card or by pre-authorized debit (PAD) from a Canadian bank account. How PAD works
Child care receipts
Year-end receipts families use to claim child care expenses on their tax return (Form T778), issued in your centre’s name with its CRA Business Number. How receipts work
French
The RoundUp app, the director pages of the web portal, and the emails and texts RoundUp sends are available in French. The family web portal is English and Spanish for now.
AI starts off
For Canadian centres, RoundUp’s AI features start switched off. A director can turn them on, and a child is included only if a parent says yes. How RoundUp uses AI
Before you ask.
Where is our data stored?
In the United States. RoundUp runs on Amazon Web Services in the US (mainly the Oregon region), for Canadian centres too. Our Privacy Policy explains how we protect it and what that means for Canadian centres. Security covers the technical side.
Which provinces?
Ontario first, then Alberta and British Columbia. Centres in other provinces and territories are welcome to get in touch now; we’ll tell you honestly when RoundUp is ready for your province.
What about Quebec?
Not yet. Quebec comes after the other provinces, once everything a Quebec centre uses is available in French.
Switching from Lillio?
The roster import has a preset for Lillio’s export, as well as Brightwheel’s and Procare’s, so you can bring your children and families across from a spreadsheet instead of retyping them.
Is it the same RoundUp?
Yes. Canadian centres use the same app and portal as centres in the US, set up for their province. Some pages on this website describe RoundUp for US centres: their state reporting doesn’t apply to you, and Canadian pricing is in Canadian dollars. The Help Center has a guide to setting up a Canadian centre.
Tell us about your centre.
Someone from the RoundUp team will get back to you within one business day.
